Saints Island Pies sits right in the heart of Whitchurch-Stouffville’s Main Street, blending the casual comfort of a café with the bold flavors of a specialty pizza spot. This place is a cross between a bakery, café, and pizza restaurant, serving up Filipino-inspired pies alongside other locally relevant bites. It’s a go-to for those looking to enjoy something different than the usual pizza offerings, with options like the Spicy Laing and Longanizza Pie giving a nod to Filipino culinary roots.

The interior feels cozy and inviting, with a clean, relaxed vibe where people seem happy to linger longer than just a quick meal. Locals appreciate the subtle touches around the décor that celebrate Filipino culture, making it not only a spot to eat but also a place where the community’s heritage gets a quiet spotlight. It fits well into the small-town fabric of Whitchurch-Stouffville, offering a taste experience that’s both comforting and unexpectedly fresh.

Saints Island Pies works best for casual lunches or early dinners, especially if you’re curious about Filipino flavors but want to stick with familiar formats like pizza and wings. The place has friendly, approachable service that makes families feel welcome, and it’s common to see people dropping by with kids or stopping in after a day’s errands. The seating area is intimate, so come early or be ready to cozy up, particularly in cooler seasons when bulky coats take up extra space.

The menu thoughtfully extends to drinks with tropical fruit juices and nostalgic sodas, which balance nicely with the spicy and savory dishes. Sides like the Fried Brussels Salad offer an elevated take on classic ingredients, rounding out the meal for those who want a bit more than just pizza. Fans of snacks can also find Filipino grocery items here, which is a subtle way the shop deepens its connection beyond just dining.

Overall, Saints Island Pies feels like a spot where you’re invited to slow down, enjoy a meal with a cultural twist, and soak in a small but lively slice of local life. It’s especially appealing to diners interested in flavors outside the standard Canadian or Italian pizza scenes and those who appreciate a clean, welcoming environment with a personal touch.

I visited on a Sunday and had one of the best longsilog meals I’ve ever eaten. The owners and staff were very kind, and I felt welcome the whole time. As a millennial, I also liked the setting. The music was great, the restaurant was clean and there were little details around the space that paid homage to Filipino culture. I can’t wait to come back!

We have now visited a couple of times in the past two weeks. Each time the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. I brought my 8 year old tonight and unprompted after speaking with the staff she commented “their customer service is awesome”! Last week I had the best scone (coconut) ever paired with the London fog and tonight my daughter ordered two sweet treats and the cheese pizza. She loved every bite.

This place is such a warm and friendly spot, perfectly located right in the heart of town. The interior is cozy and clean, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The food is great, tasty and satisfying, and the drinks are just as good. There’s plenty of parking available. Overall, it’s a charming, homey café that makes you feel relax for from the second you arrive Thank you Saints on Main

Food was great! Service was top notch. Just a bit tight with the seating with winter coats. Loved the Filipino flavours on pizza!

Stopped by Saints on Main to check out their Filipino-flavour-inspired pizzas. We hadn’t planned on eating, but the menu pulled us in. The wife and I shared the lechon pizza. Solid flavours overall, though the portion felt more personal-pan sized and the lechon leaned a bit dry. It was quiet when we arrived on a Saturday evening, but we were early, so hopefully it picked up later. Great vibes and friendly, helpful staff. We ordered beer at the restaurant, featuring Muddy York brews from just down the street, which was a nice local touch. We grabbed an Americano on the way out, which tasted great. Small mishap with the lid, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. Overall, a decent visit with good ideas and welcoming energy. A solid 7.2 rating. #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot

I have been awaiting the reopening of what I have always called the heart of Stouffville and wow, what a beat they are making! The staff at Saints on Main are welcoming and kind. The refreshed space was done with so much thoughtfulness in preserving familiar touches while bringing artful designs and airy yet cozy vibes! I didn't get photos of all the food because I was enjoying it too quickly! Their pizzas are back in the oven, coming out hot and addictive as they always were. The new pastries are fresh and not too sweet with unique twists in flavours...just right! Coffee is on point. Simply, a very good Americano. The Longanisa Breakfast sandwich was so satiating and satisfying while being perfectly balanced with a crispy hash brown. And the addition of Filipino rice dishes was most delicious and welcome because sometimes, you just got to have some rice (that garlic fried rice!!!). There is definitely something for everyone, any time of the day! Edit: went back today and ordered the Mushroom Toast and WOW. Umami bomb! Down to the last crumb, it was so delicious! Perfect balance of textures and flavours. Possibly my new favourite!

Incredible meal, drinks, vibe, staff! First night with the more secluded dining area downstairs (Saints under Main). Pictures don’t do the food justice! Great, complex flavours in each dish. Also got a whiskey sour, which was excellent.
